Southpointe Construction Services, LLC was founded in 2016 by former Pitt and Cleveland Browns football player, Jason Pinkston. Bringing a strong work ethic and passion for excellence, Pinkston set his sights on making Southpointe Construction the most reputable safety-focused traffic control company in the southwestern Pennsylvania.

Safety-focused traffic control is our primary mission. Our crews go through extensive training programs via union training prior to working in the field. You can rest assured that your job is in good hands as all Southpointe flaggers have exceed industry standards, completing ATSSA Flagger Training & Certification, OSHA required safety training, Drug-Free Workplace Training and Southpointe Safety Training and Procedure. With safety at the forefront of our core values, it inspired our company motto – “Your safety is our business.”
By partnering with our customers, we’re able to provide a wide range of safe operational capabilities including standard flagging operations, advanced setups, rolling slowdowns, and emergency and storm response capabilities. We’ve made it our business to safely maintain the infrastructure of southwestern Pennyslvania while providing safe passage through our workzones.

STANDARD FLAGGING OPERATIONS
We apply our experience and best practices to adapt to every job site, and we train every member of our traffic control team to anticipate traffic movements. With a safety-first approach, we consider safety above all else to ensure the safest travel for the public, in working conditions for road construction crews as well as all Southpointe Construction workers.
ADVANCED TRAFFIC CONTROL
In municipalities where traffic is coming from different directions or from multiple lane convergences, jobsites require advanced flagging operations and traffic control. It is imperative advanced flagging operations, that volume, speed and complexity of varying traffic conditions are taken into consideration and that communication between our team of flaggers is at the highest level. That coupled with advanced signage, allows traffic to flow smoothly with minimal disruptions and and maximum safety conditions.
SLOWDOWN TRAFFIC CONTROL
Safety is at the forefront of rolling slowdown traffic control as it often brings vehicles down from highway speed to a complete stop. Ample warning and space is key in these situations as there are often inattentive drivers. Work When properly planned and executed, rolling slowdown traffic control can maximize working efficiency. We work closely with project managers to properly forecast and plan for the particular needs of each job.
